Carroll Water is a family-owned company with over 40 years of experience providing water well and water treatment solutions. We are seeking a
Water Treatment Technician to support installation, service, and maintenance of residential and commercial systems.
What You'll Do - Diagnose, troubleshoot, and service water treatment systems, including:
- Water softeners
- Acid neutralizers
- Reverse osmosis (RO) systems
- Filtration systems and related equipment
- Interact with customers in a professional, service-oriented manner
- Document service calls, customer interactions, and system performance
- Assist with training and mentoring apprentices or helpers
- Load, transport, and maintain tools, equipment, and materials
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications - Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical or plumbing-related systems
- Knowledge of water treatment, plumbing, or related field preferred
- Ability to safely use tools and equipment
- Valid driver's license and ability to meet company driving/insurance requirements
- Willingness to participate in weekend or on-call rotation as needed
- Ability to travel to job sites within the service area
Driving & Motor Vehicle Record Requirement This position requires regular driving as part of job duties. Employment is contingent upon:
- Maintaining a valid driver's license
- Meeting the Company's driving and motor vehicle record (MVR) standards
- Remaining insurable under the Company's insurance policy
The Company reserves the right to take appropriate action, up to and including termination, if driving requirements are not met.
Physical Requirements - Ability to lift, carry, and move equipment (up to approximately 50 lbs)
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and remain active for extended periods
- Ability to use hands and arms for installation, repair, and tool operation
- Ability to work in confined spaces and varying environmental conditions
